SUPERCOMPUTERS
The Computational Technologies (CT) Project focuses on scalable supercomputers, which can meet greater computational requirements by increasing the parallelism of the computer while the algorithm remains essentially unchanged. CT provides access to its own supercomputers and establishes agreements with NASA centers and non-NASA research labs to acquire additional machine time. This approach leverages on the substantial capital investments already made by other organizations and also provides Investigators with the use of a broader variety and larger machines than NASA could afford to purchase.
