Scientific Grand Challenge: To provide physical insight into astrophysical phenomena of cosmological significance through numerical modeling.

Scientific Understanding: To test cosmological theories by simulating galactic evolution and structure with 10^5 times the present numerical resolution.

Computational Challenge: To improve the numerical statistics of the simulations and better represent the physical processes involved in controlling the evolution of the universe.

Metric: To increase the number of particles used in the numerical model by a factor of 10^3 and get the same production run-time turnaround.
